All of our engine machining and assembly, as well as our cylinder head and camshaft production, is in-house and NOT sourced out. All components in our engines are brand new parts, including the block, so you are not buying an engine that uses any remanufactured items! We are the only LS and Gen 5 LT-based company that digitizes and blueprints every engine block on a CNC machine to the factory GM specifications! Cannot Be Used During Racing Event) AC Delco Oil Filter We build all of our off-road engines with a 24x reluctor wheel and cable-driven throttle body. We can also build it for an electronic throttle body if you prefer for an additional cost. Our standard cost does not include an engine wiring harness or ECM, but these items can be added. Due to the intended use of these engines, we will include a base tune if you do choose to add the harness and ECM to your engine package, but we will require that you have the setup dyno tuned once it is installed and running. All TSP engines will include two oil changes worth of Driven Racing break-in oil for no additional cost. Proper break-in oil and procedures for your engine are just as important as the build process! The Driven Racing break-in oil allows for proper ring sealing against the cylinder walls upon start-up, as well as for the break-in period once the engine is up and running. Most off-the-shelf engine oils do not have the necessary ZDDP additives to allow for proper break-in of a new engine, and we want to take every precaution possible to ensure that your new TSP engine receives a proper break-in! We also offer the Driven Racing oil for your new engine once your break-in is complete. We recommend using Driven Racing's DT40 5w-40 engine oil once the break-in is complete. The break-in oil is NOT intended to be used for racing, so it is imperative that you change your oil to a non-break-in oil before you race!
