For bores larger than 4.100", check out the PRC LS7 265cc & 285cc cylinder heads! When selecting your camshaft, please keep in mind that the LS7 rocker arm ratio is 1.8:1 and NOT 1.7:1 like all of the other LS-based engines! All of our LS3 and LS7 camshafts are listed with the correct valve lift using 1.8:1 rocker ratio. The cylinder heads come standard with a hollow-stem stainless steel intake valve, which is heavier than the titanium valve option. The following lift numbers are the recommended maximum valve lifts that can be safely run with each valve option: Hollow-Stem - .625"; Titanium - .660". Again, keep in mind that these are the total valve lift numbers (cam lobe lift x rocker arm ratio). All of the camshafts listed are built using your choice of a three-bolt or single bolt cam core. You will need to select the 3-bolt conversion package if your car originally came with a single bolt cam core. This will include a new GM 4x 3-bolt upper cam sprocket, as well as a pack of ARP cam bolts. The new sprocket will work with your factory lower sprocket and timing chain, so no other parts will be required. All of the optional Cloyes timing sets are built for a three-bolt cam core and are specific to the LS7/LS9 dry-sump oiling system. All of the LS7 camshafts listed are only meant for LS7 engines and LS3 strokers (4.00" stroke or greater). If you have a stock-stroke LS3, please choose from one of the LS3 camshafts listed. The small-bore LS7 cylinder heads will not have enough piston-to-valve clearance on stock bottom-end non-LS7 vehicles! If you are installing these with factory pistons on an LS3/L99/LSA/L92, you will have to fly-cut the factory pistons with valve reliefs.
