In 1983, Belltech introduced a groundbreaking product that played a significant role in igniting the Sport Truck craze: the Drop Spindle.
The Drop Spindle revolutionized the industry by allowing for a lowered ride height without compromising front-end suspension or steering geometry. By relocating the spindle pin (or hub) higher on the spindle casting, Belltech's engineers achieved a 2" or 3" drop while ensuring optimal suspension performance and steering responsiveness. Remarkably, this drop doesn't adversely affect shock absorbers either.
Belltech Drop Spindles come in various lowered ride heights to suit different applications. They not only lower the vehicle but also enhance handling dynamics while preserving the factory ride quality. Importantly, these spindles maintain critical suspension geometry, effectively eliminating issues such as excessive ball joint, shock, and tire wear, which are common with alternative lowering methods.

*These spindles will increase the track width of your vehicle by approximately .45" per side. These were developed to allow the fitment of small diameter wheels (15" - 16") that were popular at the time of inception. Please make sure you are aware of this increase in track width before you purchase these lowering spindles.
