We start with our original Stage 1 kit and take it to the next level by adding Koni off-car rebound adjustable shocks. The Stage 1.5 kit also tunes up the camber curve by including ½” taller than stock upper ball joints that easily bolt to factory and most aftermarket a-arms. High performance lowering springs feature medium stiffness to control body movement and reduce floating while still providing a comfortable, sporty ride. Stage 1.5 balances out with our tried and true 1.250” front sway bar and 1” rear sway bars reducing body roll and providing excellent chassis balance when handling at the limit. UMI’s Stage 2 handling kit includes everything to upgrade and rebuild the suspension on your classic 1978-1988 GM G-Body. The Stage 2 kit includes upper and lower A-Arms with 1/2″ taller upper ball joints, heavy duty UMI sway bars with new end links and greaseable bushings, Bilstein shocks, premium lowering springs, rear tubular upper and lower control arms, replacement rear end housing bushings and heavy duty tubular frame braces. We also include all new Grade 10.9 hardware with locking nuts to complete the installation. This kit will make any classic cruiser feel like a modern day muscle car! UMI’s Stage 2 may be our entry level complete kit but it isn’t entry level performance or entry level quality. Ride height is adjustable from stock to 2″ below stock ride height. The Viking shocks feature 19 settings in both compression and rebound. UMI’s Stage 3 kit is designed to achieve great street manners combined with Pro-Touring handling capability. Up front you’ll find Delrin lower a-arm bushings for precise steering along with ½” taller upper ball joints to plant that tires contact patch. Out back we include our popular Roto-Joints and an adjustable length upper control arm so the axle can articulate nicely after you’ve perfected the driveline angle. Sway bars are UMI’s tried and true 1-1/4” front and 1” rear for a great front to rear handling balance. The Bilstein B6 Performance gas-charged shocks complete the package. The Stage 3 kit is available in beautiful red or black powder coat and is 100% designed, tested, manufactured and raced out of our shop in Philipsburg, PA – USA.
