LS VVT Low Mount Alternator Drivers Side

This is a factory replacement low mount alternator bracket for the F car 1998-02 camaro accessories that fits Vortec Truck and 2010-15 Camaro VVT accessory spacing. This bracket comes with the additional idler pulley required. Machined from 3/8 thick 6061-T6 billet aluminum. Kit includes grade 8 zinc coated bolts, 6061-T6 precision CNC lathe cut billet aluminum spacers, and stainless washers. Designed to be used with 1998-02 Camaro alternator using the factory rear alternator brace. Includes CNC machined 6061-T6 billet rear alternator brace.

* Can be used with Vortec truck blocks by drilling the upper hole into the block. This should be drilled with a .339 drill bit 3/4" deep and tapped with a 10MMx1.5 tap. Truck accessories only use two bolts that mount through the alternator into the block and the billet rear brace.

* When used with our LS1 style high mount power steering bracket uses Gates belt K060790

* Designed to fit alternators from- 1996-99 Chevy truck 350-454 (provides the most rear clearance), 1998-2002 Camaro, Firebird, and 2004-06 GTO.
