The standard price includes a fully-assembled GM LS1/LS6 short-block with a K1 Technologies 4.125" stroke crankshaft with your choice of 24x or 58x reluctor wheel. The GM 5.3L aluminum engine block is a very popular choice to use in 347, 383, and 395 CID applications due to its lower cost. It has excellent benefits, such as bay-to-bay breathing, that make it very durable to use in the build. For those customers that would rather use a new GM LS1 engine block, we do offer it for an additional $600. The standard price also includes your choice of Wiseco +3cc, -11cc, -14cc, or -30cc piston set. Any Wiseco pistons offered are built to accommodate LS1, LS2, LS6, and most aftermarket cylinder heads and valve configuration. Any Wiseco piston set will use a 3.903" bore piston. Other custom build items are available. We also offer Lunati and Oliver connecting rods. Feel free to give us a call, and we will be more than happy to put an itemized estimate together for you! All engines will ship via truck freigh. We will contact you with a shipping cost after your order has been placed. All prices listed on our website do not include the applicable shipping costs! All Wiseco pistons will use a 1.2mm/1.2mm/3.0mm ring pack with a steel top ring and Napier second ring. This will be the standard ring pack used with any of our Wiseco exclusive piston sets, and this ring pack will be offered with any Wiseco off-the-shelf piston set. All Wiseco piston sets will use the Wiseco/NPR-specific ring sets. We do build many engines to keep in stock, and we do our best to offer a variety to suit everyone’s wants/needs. The average build time will normally take three to four weeks once all parts are at the machine shop. This is only an estimate since circumstances and wait times will vary. Please give us a call for an accurate, up-to-date time quote. If you are planning to use a power-adder and exceed 12 psi of boost or a 200 HP shot of nitrous, we would recommend building a 4.00" stroke engine since it will allow for a thicker crown on the piston. All of our engines with Wiseco pistons will use a Napier second ring for maximum oil control. This is just another step that we take with all TSP short-blocks to ensure you get the best quality possible! Our TSP 395 C.I.D. long-block includes everything in our short-block package plus the following parts that are installed on the engine: Precision Race Components (PRC) Stage 2.5 LS6 Cylinder Heads with 2.02"/1.57" Stainless Steel Valves & PRC Dual Valve Spring Kit with Titanium Retainers Your Choice of TSP Camshaft Double-Roller Timing Set GM LS7 Roller Lifter Set TSP Hardened Chromemoly Pushrods GM Cylinder Head Bolts & GM MLS Head Gaskets TSP Ported LS6 Oil Pump Bolts, Gaskets, & Other GM Items Included: LS1 Lifter Trays with Bolts, Camshaft Retainer Plate with Bolts, Rear Main Seal Housing Gasket, Timing Cover Gasket, LS1 Valley Cover Gasket, Oil Pump O-Ring, GM Balancer Pulley Bolt, Oil Pan Gasket, Water Pump Gaskets, Rear Main Seal, Front Crankshaft Seal, Cylinder Head Dowel Pins We do offer an upgrade to 1/2" head studs for those looking to run a large amount of nitrous or boost. The price listed for the 1/2" head stud upgrade will include the cost of the ARP hardware, as well as the necessary machine work. You MUST select a set of PRC aftermarket casting cylinder heads for this upgrade! All of the PRC aftermarket casting cylinder heads already have the larger bolt holes to accommodate 1/2" head studs. The GM castings will not have the larger bolt holes, which would require additional machining. So, please make your cylinder head selection accordingly if you plan to upgrade to 1/2" head studs. We also offer turn-key long-blocks that will include your choice of oil pan, intake manifold, throttle body, etc. We do offer many upgrades to customize your engine, such as ARP bolts and studs, Cometic head gaskets, etc. Please give us a call, and we will be happy to put an itemized estimate together for you. Give us a call for more information! All TSP engines will include 12 quarts of Joe Gibbs break-in oil for no additional cost. Proper break-in oil and procedures for your engine are just as important as the build process! The Joe Gibbs break-in oil allows for proper ring sealing against the cylinder walls upon start-up, as well as for the break-in period once the engine is up and running. Most off-the-shelf engine oils do not have the necessary ZDDP additives to allow for proper break-in of a new engine, and we want to take every precaution possible to ensure that your new TSP engine receives a proper break-in!
