TCM-2650 Transmission Controller W/Harness

This is not a standalone controller. The TCM-2650 is designed for situations where a standalone transmission controller cannot control the transmission directly. 

6L80/90E: Newer transmissions, including the GM 6L80, contain the factory transmission control module inside the valve body. These mechatronic valve body designs make it nearly impossible to directly control the transmission solenoids with a standalone transmission controller. It is also very difficult to remove the transmission and controller from the factory powertrain since all of the transmission parameters are received from other vehicle modules including the engine controller, body control module, etc. The PCS TCM-2650 is an all-in-one solution that will allow the 6L80E, 6L90E just transmission and factory controller to be installed in any vehicle with any engine combination and maintain a fully functional transmission. The TCM-2650 can also be programmed to activate 2 additional calibrations, each including shift tables and torque converter lockup table. It has been used in many applications and engine combinations, such as Cummin 2.8L, 4BT Diesels, Gen 1 , 2 and 3 GM engines. Whether they are carbureted or Fuel Injected, this system will allow you to use the GM 6 Speeds in practically any vehicle. Comes with a complete harness and the necessary software to program the TCM-2650 Module.

8L90E: The GM 8L90E, comes with an external factory transmission control module (T87 or T87A). These transmission design makes it nearly impossible to directly control the transmission solenoids with a standalone transmission controller. It is also very difficult to remove the transmission and controller from the factory powertrain since all of the transmission parameters are received from other vehicle modules including the engine controller, body control module, etc. The TCM-2650 is an all-in-one solution that will allow the 8L90E transmission and factory T87 controller to be installed in any vehicle with any engine combination and maintain a fully functional transmission. The 8L90E must be 2019 or older (Gen 1 based with either T87 or T87A). 

The TCM-2600/2650 is used to enable the use of the GM 6l50e, 6L80E, 6l90E, 6T70E, 6T75E, or 8L80E and 8L90E transmissions behind practically any engine. all that is needed is a Throttle position signal and Engine RPM.
