  • TAP-2000 is a floor mounted shifter with Tap up Tap Down for GM 6/8L80/90E transmissions.

    It is a 5 position shifter, Park, Reverse, Neutral, Drive and Sport Mode.

    The button for Tap control is on the top of the shifter, making it easy to use in both left and right hand drive vehicles.

    Tap Up Tap Down is configured for the hardwire input in Pin 7 of the transmission.

    The TAP-2000 also has the transmission brake interlock feature, this prevents the driver from moving the shifter out of park unless the brake is depressed.

    There is a button to release the shifter from park manually in case the vehicle loses power. The shifter assembly comes complete with the cable and mounting brackets for GM 6L80e and 6l90e transmissions.

    SFT-4000 connector kit REQUIRED

    NOTE: E38 (ECM) and T43 (TCM) require custom tuning.

      Overall very happy with the product.

      I bought the TAP2000 kit along with a complete Gen 4 harness and computer from PSI. The quality of all the products is excellent and the team (particularly tech Support) are super responsive to any questions. The only thing I would say that could be a negative (depending on your build) for the TAP2000 is its height. Check the dimensions as it quite tall.
