    NOTES: This COMPLETE controller kit from PSI includes everything you need to get that LS/Vortec engine and Transmission running in your project vehicle. Why use an aftermarket controller for your transmission when you can utilize the Factory controller just like the original vehicle! The kit includes hardware and components that don't typically come with used engines, such as the wiring harness, mass airflow meter, oxygen sensors, brake switch, and programmed PCM which includes the mounting bracket - eliminating the need to source them separately. This controller system is a true stand-alone system for use in older vehicles, as all that's needed to get a vehicle running with it are power and ground sources, a fuel pump able to support 58-psi (400 kPa) at the fuel rail, and an electric cooling fan.

    WARNING: The installed tune is a base/startup tune, mirroring a factory OEM tune based on the options selected in your order. The tune will remove the VATS (Vehicle Anti-Theft System), bypass VVT (if applicable), disable DOD (if applicable), and remove any restrictions preventing operation of the engine when installed in a different vehicle.

    If the engine has a different camshaft, ANY performance modifications, or has any components that differ from options selected on your tune request the following issues may occur: No start, erratic idle, surging, check engine lights, limp mode, lack of shifting, no throttle response, poor power delivery, and other issues possibly rendering the engine inoperable. Any engine or transmission modifications will REQUIRE a custom tune to ensure proper operation and prevent serious damage. PSI Conversion cannot be held responsible for issues related to operation or performance when the engine/transmission has been modified, or varies from the options selected when the tune was installed.

    NOTES: These Harnesses are designed for retrofitting Gen 3 24X 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 LS1 LS2 LS6 engines from Corvette C5 and C6, Camaro and Firebird, GTO and CTS-V and Vortec engines (4.8, 5.3, 5.7, 6.0-Liter) from Silverado Sierra Suburban Tahoe Yukon Yukon XL, Escalade and Avalanche Drive by cable throttle with Manual or Non-Electronic Auto transmissions into older muscle cars and street rods or newer non-emissions controlled vehicles. Harness allows use of the factory Vortec intake manifold with Multec, EV1, or EV6 style injectors. They are completely plug and play with four wire hookup (switched power, constant power and ground connections required). Harnesses are designed with a sliding grommet seal and 4 - 5 feet of length from the rear of the cylinder head to the PCM mounting position under the vehicle dashboard. A sliding grommet seal allows for professional, leak proof installation.

    Harnesses are professionally constructed from Brand New GM Delphi Connectors and TXL (Polyethylene Cross Linked) High Temperature Wire to GM Specifications. All Harnesses are 100% Quality Inspected prior to shipping. Please contact PSI with any questions.

    • Clean, well laid out harness with enough length to position whete desired.
      I purchased a complete setup. going on a stock lm7 junkyard engine that will be freshened up.
      The engine is going in a jeep yj that currently has an L98 tpi in it.
      I spent hours and hours cutting and splicing the wiring harness to make all connections for the L98 harness using the Helm manual.
      The L98 harness was complicated mostly because the engine came out of a 1991 corvette.
      I spent maybe 10 minutes making the PSI harness connections to the LM7 engine mounted on the stand and probably another 1 hour making battery connections, fuel resivoir for pump and wiring in an ignition on switch and fuel pump switch to test run engine, with most of that hour looking for wire and cables.
      The 5.3 started so quick it startled my wife who helps me wrench. It started at high idle the settled down. I was able to run the engine for a couple of minutes just to verify it had no rod knock before tearing it down for a refresh.
      Bottom line, hell yes I would recommend this harness to anyone looking to avoid wiring headaches. The quality is fantastic.

      I did not think this controller kit could get better and it just did. Without a doubt the easiest kit on the market just plug and play. I cannot say enough about PSI and what they deliver in quality!
