APPLICATION: Gen IV 58x engines utilizing a classic style intake manifold setup. This kit will retain the factory gen IV drive by wire functionality and fuel injection with a factory GM E38 ECM, while giving the engine the classic small block chevy style look. This intake will require a 'speed density' setup (no mass air flow sensor). Any kit from us will come with a base tuned computer for this setup. Any classic setup should always get a custom tune once the vehicle is running to optimize the driveability and performance of the system.
PSI offers intake manifold kits with fuel rails as well as the throttle body and air cleaner adapters which can be added directly to the order within the options.
The PSI throttle body adapter (THR-3501) is specifically designed for a vortec truck style throttle body, which we sell (THR-4TR).
Any SBC (carburetor) style air cleaner will work with the PSI air cleaner adapter (THR-3011).
PSI also sells multiple different types of valve covers to hide the coil packs or accommodate for remote mount coils with SBC style valve covers.

For 6L80/90E application you will have to send the T43 transmission control module in for tuning. The controller is located inside the transmission oil pan. Here is a VIDEO to help with the removal and installation of the TCM.

Why use an aftermarket controller for your transmission when you can utilize the Factory controller just like the original vehicle! The kit includes hardware and components that don't typically come with used engines, such as the wiring harness, mass airflow sensor, oxygen sensors, brake switch, and programmed PCM which includes the mounting bracket - eliminating the need to source them separately. WARNING: The installed tune is a base/startup tune, mirroring a factory OEM tune based on the options selected in your order. The tune will remove the VATS (Vehicle Anti-Theft System), bypass VVT (if applicable), disable DOD (if applicable), and remove any restrictions preventing operation of the engine when installed in a different vehicle.
If the engine has a different camshaft, ANY performance modifications, or has any components that differ from options selected on your tune request the following issues may occur: No start, erratic idle, surging, check engine lights, limp mode, lack of shifting, no throttle response, poor power delivery, and other issues possibly rendering the engine inoperable. Any engine or transmission modifications will REQUIRE a custom tune to ensure proper operation and prevent serious damage. PSI Conversion cannot be held responsible for issues related to operation or performance when the engine/transmission has been modified, or varies from the options selected when the tune was installed.
These harnesses are designed for retrofitting 2007 - 2014 58X LS2 6.0 Corvette & Trailblazer SS, LS3 6.2, GMPP LS376 480 & 525, LS7 7.0 Corvette & Camaro ZL1, Vortec LY6, L92, L76, LMG, 4.8, 5,3, 6.0 and 6.2 engines and 4L60E/80E automatic transmissions into older muscle cars and street rods or newer non-emissions controlled vehicles. They are completely plug and play with four wire hookup (switched power, constant power and ground connections required). Harnesses are designed with a sliding grommet seal and 4 - 5 feet of length from the rear of the cylinder head to the PCM mounting position under the vehicle dashboard. A sliding grommet seal allows for professional, leak proof installation.
Harnesses are professionally constructed from brand new GM Delphi connectors and TXL (Polyethylene cross linked) high temperature wire to GM specifications.
